As we approach the end of the year thanks to everyone who has bought from us, supplied us and contributed to our operations in the past.
2012 Operations: Keeping a small operation like Tunnel Busters healthy is vital to our customers ongoing support and maintenance of the Warrenater and although 2011 was a difficult year, we are looking forward to stable operations going into our busiest part of the year - Spring 2012.
Price Increase: We have tried to keep our prices down over the past couple of years, but we are no longer able to absorb the increase in costs so we will be increasing our prices from January 1st, 2012.

It seems as though the rabbits are trying to make up for loses over the last 2 hard winters!
Walking around the school grounds whilst waiting for my kids to complete their day I was stunned to see how many baby rabbits there are already running about the place. To be fair, sales of burrow blasters have fallen over the last few years across the board. This has been mainly due to the fact that most farms already have access to one either its own, through a neighbour or friend or via a pest controller. The economic climate has also slowed things up a tad and the hard winters have reduced the populations of the pests. So to see so many babies so early was a bit of a reminder that rabbits, rats and moles are pests BECAUSE they recover very quickly after any kind of set back and that is why they are pests. I expect you are also seeing a lot more on your farms and land than was expected.
So, what to do about it, we know that the use of the Warrenater reduces habitat and by so doing populations are reduced due to lack of easy breeding tunnels.

Jan 1, 2011 With the Pigeons once again fully active on the winter crops, we have trialed the all new Scare'm Pigeon Scarer on our Farm.
Like everyone else we have and do use Bangers, Banger Ropes and all manner of Pigeon Scarers over the years and this season was no different. I came across the Pigeon Scarer at our local supplier and bought one to see how it performed. It was absolutely great - all the Pigeons and crows within 500 yards have disappeared and into week 2 they are still nowhere to be seen. I have bought another 7 this month and I can honestly say that the pigeons are no longer active on the fields where I have installed these new Scarers.

About the Warrenater
What makes the Warrenater different from any other device?
The Warrenater combines the application for the destruction of tunnel systems of rabbits, rats and moles into a single safe, durable, lightweight product. The unit is light and fully integrated.
How does it work?
The Warrenater has a remote control mechanism that enables the Operator to safely open the flow of the gas to the burrow end from the vehicle that carries the gas bottles. The Operator stands at a distance of between 10 and 20 metres from the blast. Between the Operator and the burrow is a single lightweight hose 10 to 20 metres long. This single lightweight hose carries the mixed gas and the sparking electrics to the wand at the burrow. It has a failsafe shutoff that ensures that the gas is shut off before ignition can be executed from a safe distance. The Operator has full control of the gas flow at all times leaving no margin for error or accidental explosion. Igniting the gas is a simple press of the button on the controller once the gas flow is turned off. The Warrenater comes complete, excluding the propane and oxygen tanks. It has no manually attached components. Designed for use in dense scrub, woodland, on steep banks and tracks of grassland, there are no manual attachments or lose wires or components.
